SeaLegacy, Seaspiracy To Talk Driftnets

-

SeaLegacy and Seaspiracy will be holding an online discussion next week about the use of driftnets off the US coast of California as well as the issue of fishing subsidies.

The hour-long conversation will take place on September 9th, during which:

“You will learn firsthand from world-renowned photographer Cristina Mittermeier and Seaspiracy documentary’s director Ali Tabrizi about their eye-opening experiences on the front lines of ocean conservation, the progress being made in the campaign to ban driftnets in the United States, and the path forward for a healthier, more abundant ocean.”

Ecologist and writer Carl Safina will moderate the conversation, and there will also be a video prior to the chat featuring Paul Nicklen.
