Good things come to those who wait.
At least that must be what the folks at SeaLife are hoping underwater shutterbugs are thinking following the company’s announcement this week that its new, permanently sealed Micro HD underwater camera has finally started shipping to dealers.
SeaLife introduced the new camera in August and said at the time that it would be available at dealers starting September 1.
“Orders for the innovative new camera are being released on a first-come first-serve basis, and SeaLife is encouraging all interested dealers to place orders as soon as possible to guarantee they receive cameras from an upcoming shipment,” the company said October 21.
SeaLife Sales Manager Karl Schuster says the company is “experiencing a truly overwhelming response to the new Micro HD camera,” with many dealers “who pre-ordered the camera several months ago have already placed additional orders, even before initial shipments have gone out. With demand ramping up, we will continue to ship all Micro HD cameras on a first-come first-serve basis.”
The 16GB Micro HD retails for $399.95, and the 32GB Micro HD+ (WiFi included) retails for $499.95.
