Spearfishing TV Show Concludes Filming Off Hatteras

HATTERAS, NC — A new spearfishing television program last week finished the taping of footage for three to four shows off Cape Hatteras, NC, DeeperBlue.net has learned.

The shows off Hatteras, part of a new series called “Speargun Hunters,” will air on The Outdoor Channel (NOT to be confused with OLN, the Outdoor Life Channel) starting in January 2007, and will feature Mark Laboccetta, Bill Ernst, Sheri Daye and Terry Maas.

The filming took place in the days prior to the 2006 Omer Hatteras Blue Water Open.
