Scuba Schools International has announced the winner of its 2025 Master Diver Challenge Grand Prize.
This year, the winner is Chatchamol “Am” Sonprathet from Spruce Creek Scuba in Port Orange, Florida.
To complete the requirement for the challenge, Sonprathet completed the following requirements: four SSI Specialty programs, the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program and had at least 50 logged dives. The prize is a weeklong liveaboard trip for two aboard the Thailand Aggressor.
Commenting on the win, Tracy Grubbs, owner of Spruce Creek Scuba, stated:
“Since the inception of SSI’s Master Diver Challenge, we’ve consistently encouraged our customers to pursue their Master Diver rating—not only for the opportunity to win SSI’s Aggressor Adventures grand prize, but also through incentives we’ve created at Spruce Creek Scuba. Inspired by the MDC, we developed our own in-store challenge, giving our customers even more opportunities to win and stay engaged in their training.”
She later discussed the impact of the program on her business:
