The crowdfunding campaign for the Aktiv Dive Watch launched and smashed its target in less than 25 minutes.
The initial goal was of €10,000/~US$12,121/~£8,589 was rapidly surpassed, and now over €42,000/~$50,911 /~£36,077 has been raised, and the campaign still has days to go.
Features of the Aktiv Dive Watch include:
- A Super slim design measuring only 8.5mm (0.33”) in thickness.
- Water-resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
- Made with scratchproof sapphire crystal glass.
- Swiss quartz movement
- Non-radioactive or toxic luminescence on the hands thanks to a C3 Super-LumiNova material.
The Aktiv is the brainchild of minimalist Swedish design team Jeppe Larsen and Magnus Eriksen, and there are 10 designs to choose from ranging in price from $219/£154/€179 to $270/£255/ €220. Delivery of the watches is scheduled for September.
