Sustainable Sea Food Cookbook Coming This Spring

A new sustainable cookbook, “Good Catch: A Guide to Sustainable Fish and Seafood with Recipes from the World’s Oceans,” is set for release on May 16, 2023, by Union Square & Co.

The book is the work of acclaimed spearfisherwoman and ocean evangelist Valentine Thomas, who shares not just her recipes but also her adventures diving and fishing in some of the worlds best spots like South Africa, the Marshall Islands and Taiwan.

The book features 75 recipes from around the world that are inspired by Thomas’s catches. The recipes include:

  • Grilled Clams with butter, garlic and parsley.
  • Buttermilk Fried Fish.
  • Messy Sushi Board.
  • Snapper Panzanella with grapefruit.
  • Fish Head Nachos.

The new book not only features delicious recipes and lots of information on how to make responsible choices when choosing your next seafood meal. Ultimately sustainable choices is the only way to keep enjoying seafood in the long run.
