The Reef-World Foundation is celebrating its ever-growing relationship with Professional Scuba Schools Worldwide.
The relationship stretches back to 2018, and since that date, PSS has been committed to promoting sustainable diving and training practices. Both organizations reiterate their commitment going forward to developing new approaches and strategies. The new methods aim to induce behavioral changes to protect marine ecosystems and coral reefs. So far, the fruits of the partnership include:
- The first agency to share the Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course on the PSS EVO.
- Encouraging PSS professionals to fully participate and enroll in the Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course.
- Supporting the “Sustainability in a Recovering Travel World” study by Reef World.
- Supporting the development of the new Reef World Green Fins Hub.
Commenting on the longstanding and growing relationship, James Harvey, a director at the Reef-World Foundation, stated:
“PSS was one of the first diving training agencies to offer support for the Green Fins initiative by hosting the Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course on their EVO System. With this support, Reef-World was able to set the foundation for the e-courses as they are available today. We look forward to the partnership continuing to support the diving industry to adopt environmentally friendly business practices for the protection of the marine ecosystems.”
