The Women Divers Hall of Fame has been nominated for the 2022 DEMA Diving Community Champion award.
The nomination is in recognition of the stellar work the organization has done over the previous 20 years. Highlights of WDHOF’s achievements include distributing over half-a-million dollars in scholarships and training grants to more than 471 individuals.
2022 was a year of exceptional activity where the WDHOF held Zoom mentoring sessions with inspirational WDHOF members. These were attended by over 75 associates from a broad range of countries and territories. During these sessions, various subjects were discussed, including careers in dive medicine, dive physiology, aquatic science and exploration.
