Wine Company Claims 167 Tons of Plastic Removed From The Ocean

-

Australian wine company The Hidden Sea announced this week that its customers had helped remove the equivalent of over 10 million single-use plastic bottles from the ocean.

Last November, the company pledged that with the purchase of one bottle of The Hidden Sea wine, they would remove the equivalent of 10 single-use plastic bottles from the ocean.

Since then, the company says due to its customers buying a lot of wine, 166.67 tons’ worth of plastic has been removed from waters off Indonesia.

Check out the video below or go to The Hidden Sea’s partner the Resea Project to track how the company is doing to uphold its promise.
