The Academy of Underwater Arts & Sciences (AUAS) has announced the 2024 NOGI Award recipients.
This year, the five recipients are:
- Louis Prezelin – Arts.
- Shirley Pomponi, Ph.D. – Science.
- Lad Akins – Environment.
- Jeffrey Bozanic, Ph.D. – Sports/Education.
- Jim Gatacre – Distinguished Service.
The awards will be presented at the annual NOGI Awards Gala and Banquet in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 20, 2024. The gala runs alongside the annual DEMA Show.
