A New Book About the ‘Sea Lions of Los Islotes’ is Due Out Soon

-

If you’re an avid diver and/or marine life enthusiast, you might want to check out an upcoming new book on the sea lions that frequent the waters off Baja California.

With vivid underwater photography throughout by author Luke Inman, “The Sea Lions of Los Islotes: The Jewel of Espiritu Santo Island” takes readers straight into the world of these amazing marine mammals.

The book’s contents include a foreword by Steve Backshall; how to tell different sea lions apart; what their lifestyle is like; their lifecycle; how to have safe interactions; the challenges sea lions face; other visitors to the area; and how to photograph sea lions.

Inman is a scuba Instructor Trainer, natural history filmmaker, photographer, writer and explorer. He’s worked on the BBC’s “Planet Earth 3,” Netflix’s “Our Planet” as well as several advertising campaigns. He is the owner and operator of The Dive Gurus — the only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

“The Sea Lions of Los Islotes” will be available beginning October 25th, 2022, retailing for £25 in the UK and $35 in the US from Divedup.com, online and from retailers.
