The 5th day of competition at the 2021 Caribbean Cup in Roatan has seen Argentina take center stage with Ricardo Montans set a new record with a 90m/295ft Constant Weight (CWT) dive in 2mins 39secs.
Honduran Andrea Merlo continued her Free Immersion (FIM) journey by adding another meter to her National Record by diving 25m/82ft in 1min 9secs
Guatemalan Amerigo Moran also set a Constant Weight No-Fins (CNF) national record with a 66m/217ft dive in 2mins 34secs.
Honduran Tourism Institute and Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort are sponsoring the world-class event this year and competitors will be competing for top spots in Constant Weight (CWT), Constant Weight No Fins (CNF), Free Immersion (FIM), and Constant Weight Bi-Fins (CWTBF) disciplines.
