The Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California is inviting people to attend the celebrations to mark the first anniversary of the Santa Barbara Channel Whale Heritage Area designation.
The event will take place on November 22, 2024, between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the Bacara Theatre.
The event, dubbed “Whales, Ales, and Cocktails,” will feature, amongst other things, the Rick Rosenthal film “Whale Wisdom,” which is narrated by David Attenborough.
The fee for the event is US$60/~£46.5/~€54, and part of the proceeds will be going to support SBCWHA outreach and education initiatives.
That is not the end of the celebrations; on Nov 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., you can board the Condor Express for a whale-watching adventure in the Santa Barbara Channel.
The fee for that event is $150/~£115.5/~€135, and part of the proceeds will also be going to support SBCWHA outreach and education initiatives.
