The Divers Alert Network (DAN) has announced that it is looking to fill three vacancies.
The positions cover a wide range of activities within the organization, and all three are based at DAN headquarters in Durham, North Carolina. The positions DAN is looking to fill are:
- Safety services coordinator- The role’s primary responsibility is to support outreach, safety development, and educational programs. The role involves communicating with dive professionals, dive operators, and the general public to promote safety and answer training inquiries.
- Experienced medic- The role involves responding to calls from medical staff, travelers and divers, to answer their questions about a wide range of health-related issues. The successful candidate should be able to use their diving and emergency medical training to answer the questions they face.
- Experienced writer/editor- The successful candidate will join the DAN communications team. They will craft and edit articles and other content to promote the array of DAN products and services. Knowledge of WordPress, as well as digital editing and social media management, is necessary for this role.
