Papua Paradise Eco Resort has 26 overwater beautiful bungalows. Each is built using local wood and thatching in the traditional style unique to this area. Diving

Some highlights in the area are watching the mating ritual of the Mandarinfish at Lihaga Island just a short boat ride from Gangga Island, as well as muck diving for micro critters close to the resort.

As for day trips, there are endless dives to choose from. Bangka Island, Bunaken National Marine Park, and the Lembeh Strait are perfect for deeper dives, steep walls, underwater pinnacles, and big drop-offs. Talisei and Bangka are famous for their beautiful colored hard and soft corals which home scorpionfish, various ghost pipefish, crocodilefish, and many species of the wonderfully odd frogfish.

Dives range between 5 and 40 meters and feature soft sandy slopes, dramatic walls, underwater caverns, vibrant coral gardens, and sunken sculptures. It’s easy to make 2 dives a day and still have plenty of time to relax on the beach, have a cocktail, or read a book in the shade of a coconut palm.

Diving
