Empire State Building Shines “Red” for “The Cove”

On Friday December 9th, the world famous Empire State Building blazed red across  the New York city skyline to remind everyone that the brutal dolphin slaughter still goes on in Japan and must be stopped. Ric O’Barry, Louie Psihoyos, and Fisher Stevens were on hand to light the Empire State Building as a symbolic beacon calling for an end to the destructive practice. The activist, director and prodcuer of the academy award winning film “The Cove”, gathered with other luminaries to signal that we must continue to put pressure to help the defenseless dolphins.
