The Freediving Competition is normally a static apnea competition, performed  as per Emirati pearl diver tradition, which is holding a weighted rope at the bottom in 2 metres depth, with no nose  clip, mask, wetsuit, weightbelt or any other diving equipment. the rules are to pull oneself down the weighted line and remain submerged for as long as possible.  As soon as your head breaks the surface your timing is over.
