Ft. Lauderdale, FL — Freediving Instructors International are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Fort Lauderdale Freediving Open. This innaugural competitive event will be held at the International Swimming Hall of Fame at the Bahia Cabana Basin this Memorial Day weekend, on Monday May 30th.
“This competition is aimed at the growth of the community as a whole and we welcome spectators, competitors and volunteers from all different backgrounds and levels of experience. It will be the first event of its kind in the US where we will be bringing both the spearfishing and competitive freediving communities together in a joint effort.” said Niki Roderick of F.I.I.
