The new liveaboard experience allows medical professionals to receive eight AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits during the liveaboard trip for no additional fee.
The weeklong liveaboard features all the diving in the morning and evenings, with afternoons being dedicated to two one-hour lectures.
The lectures will be conducted by the former Associate Professor of Microbiology and Surgery at the College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, member of Divers Alert Network and The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society Dr. Gary Rose MD.
Topics covered during the lectures include:
- Dive safety.
- Injury prevention.
- Venom and stings.
- Shark safety.
- Shipwreck primary care.
The seven-night, eight-day package takes place from December 9-16, 2023, and is open to Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and such.
