Introducing Inspector Seabin Water Garbage Bins

-

Sources of Knowledge recently unveiled the new Seabin Water Garbage bins.

These new revolutionary bins are designed to remove garbage from the water until human volunteers come and remove the debris.

At this point, three Inspector Seabins are located in Fathom Five National Marine Park in Tobermory, Ontario. A study in 2022 on the three bins looked to discover exactly what is floating around in those waters.

Items found ranged in size from 500ml water bottles to 2mm microplastics. The study also found small pieces of plastic, cigarette butts, film fragments and a host of other small pieces of rubbish.

You can find out more information here, or check out a video of the Inspector Seabin below.
