Keldan Unveils A New Remote Control For Its XR Underwater Lights

-

Keldan has introduced its new underwater RC1 Remote Control System for the company’s “XR” series of lights.

The RC1 is based on ultrasonic technology, giving it a range of up to 50 meters (164 feet) underwater. It sports two brightness channels. Each channel can address an infinite number of lights simultaneously. A light can be paired with any of the two channels with a pairing mode.

While the RC1 remote control can also operate in air, the range will be limited to about 1-2 meters (3.3-6.6 feet).

The RC1 allows the freedom of not having to swim back and forth to adjust the lighting, giving the photographer or videographer the option to place the lights wherever he or she wants.

Here are the technical details:

Battery: 9V block battery 48.5mm x 26.2mm x 17mm
(ANSI 1604 / IEC = 6LR61)
1604LC (Lithium)
1604A (Alkaline)
Dimensions: 160x70x40mm
Weight (on air): 370 gr
Weight (in water): 140 gr
Range: 50 Meter approx.
Ultrasonic Frequency Range: 27’000 Hz – 37’000 Hz
