Operations Expanded On Alleged Wreck Of The USS North Carolina

Operations are to be expanded on what is believed to be the wreck of the USS North Carolina, according to Endurance Exploration Group and Blue Water Ventures International.

The companies are also investigating the wreck of the SS Pulaski. The expanded operations will continue in their efforts to positively identify the remains of what the companies believe to be the wreck of the North Carolina.

The USS North Carolina was a 74-gun ship of the line of the U.S. Navy and was considered one of the sea service’s most powerful ships for its time. The vessel was commissioned in 1824 and saw service for 42 years until being decommissioned in 1866.

Both companies hope the wreck will reveal artifacts similar to those found on the SS Pulaski.
