Scuba diver dies in Seattle

From Seattlepi:

An autopsy may determine the cause of death for a scuba diver who lost consciousness in Seattle’s Elliott Bay near Alki Point.

Other divers say they pulled Josh Magee out of the water Saturday and he died later at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The King County medical examiner’s office is conducting the autopsy.

Other divers say the 33-year-old Seattle man had screamed for help but by the time they pulled him out of the water he could not be revived.

His fiance, Resa Shuck, says they had gone on their second dive together and she was on the beach when she heard him calling. He had proposed on their first dive together while they were taking a scuba lesson near Whidbey Island.
