Shark Draggers To Face Trial By The End Of The Year

In the Summer of 2017, two Florida individuals filmed a shark being cruelly dragged behind their speedboat at speed. The incident garnered international attention and went viral. Eventually, the two men were identified and arrested.

While both individuals are yet to stand trial for their despicable behavior, they recently took a step closer to facing justice after it was reported that the date for their trial is to be finalized by the end of the year.

The delay is a small win for the defendants, who seem to be constructing their defense on the premise that the shark was already dead, and therefore you cannot be cruel to a dead animal.
