Snuba International Establishes 'Snuba U' To Offer Training For Guides

Snuba International earlier this year established a “Snuba University” to help alleviate the shortage of guides qualified to lead clients in underwater tours using the company’s shallow-water diving system.

“We are a licensor, and so, our licensees are saying, ‘We can’t find guides. We need help. We need resources,’ or ‘We need training coordinators, we need some way that we can go to a site like Snuba U and find guides that are looking for positions, looking for a place to move and live and conduct SNUBA tours,” Jim Mayfield, the company’s president and CEO, told DeeperBlue.com this week at DEMA Show 2010.
