If learning to freedive and sail off the Greek coast is one of the things on your bucket list, EYsailing and Freedive Greece are once again organizing a sailing trip this coming summer.
The third annual “Sailing and Freediving Adventure” will take place from July 27th – August 3, 2019 aboard the sailing yacht Lito.
You’ll be able to enjoy diving at ideal conditions in clear blue water, with great visibility, “skandalopetra” without depth limits, explore sea-caves and swim-throughs, all from the comfort of a sailing yacht.
Instructor Vassilis Garoutsos from Freedive Greece is an AIDA Master, SSI III and PADI Master Instructor and spearfishing instructor as well. Under his guidance and coaching, you’ll develop your diving skills in the sea and get your AIDA, CMAS, PADI or SSI certificate depending on your performance.
During the trip, you’ll learn or improve your freediving technique, sail to a different Greek island every day and learn basic sailing skills, enjoy local gastronomy, attend local festivals, explore little harbors and Greek culture.
The trip starts and ends from the island of Lefkas and will visit the islands of Kastos, Kalamos, Atokos, Ithaca, Kefalonia and Meganisi.
This year, Octopus Freediving will be one of the trip sponsors who will provide brand new equipment for all guests to try out. You’ll be able to check out the noseclips, the lanyard, the eQ tools and their new pulley system. Hype Energy drinks are also sponsoring the trip this year.
You’ll be sailing aboard the 44-foot/13-meter sailing yacht Lito, which sports two bathrooms and three showers. The cost of the trip is €1250/US$1540/£1100 per person including all the yacht and freediving costs, weights, ropes, buoys, breakfast, linens and all the related costs. The only things not included in that package are your flight tickets and lunch/dinners. Not many spaces are left, so you better hurry!
