The Third International Symposium on GIS/Spatial Analyses in Fishery and Aquatic Sciences will be held in Shanghai (China) from 22 to 26 August 2005.
This symposium emphasized GIS as a tool for conducting spatial analyses and aquatic sciences, which encompass the ecosystem approach to fisheries management and the interrelationships between inland and marine fisheries, and aquaculture.
The deadline for proposals/abstracts is June 15, 2005.
