Zeagle announced this week that effective immediately it was lowering the retail prices on both the Onyx and Flathead series of regulators by up to US$100.
“We’re happy to announce that quality and performance just got less expensive,” Zeagle Brand Manager Christoph Palmanshofer said. “We’ve always concentrated on making the best products on the market and our customers have always respected that. Now we’re shifting focus to provide the best value,” he added.
Retailers need not worry, according to Palmanshofer.
“Dealers will continue to earn the same % margin with MAP protected retail pricing,” he said.
“Divers have high expectations for the quality and performance of Zeagle products and they understand you pay for quality, and that we’re not necessarily the least expensive,” according to Palmanshofer. “We wanted to remove this perception for our retail partners when faced with customers who may not be aware of our reputation and quality proposition. This price adjustment should make it easier for them to introduce Zeagle to a more cost-sensitive consumer who demand reliability and performance.”
