Nominations for the 2013 DAN/Rolex Diver of the Year Award are now open. The award, easily one of the most prestigious awards given out in the dive industry, recognizes an individual who’s significantly contributed to Scuba Diving safety or the mission of DAN.
The winner gets a specially engraved Rolex Submariner watch.
If you would like to submit a nomination, simply send a brief description of the individual’s merits and contributions to dive safety or the mission of DAN to Garrett Young via e-mail at gyoung@dan.org. Nominations can also be sent via traditional mail to Young c/o DAN/Rolex Award, Divers Alert Network, 6 West Colony Place, Durham, NC, 27705.
All nominations must be received no later than December 31, 2012.
