Aggressor Adventures Help Clean Up The Savannah River

-

Aggressor Adventures has teamed up with the Savannah Riverkeeper to help remove debris from the Savannah River.

To celebrate national clean-up day, both parties teamed up on September 1, 2021, to clean up parts of the Savannah river. The teams removed an impressive 420lbs/190kg of debris.

The Savannah Riverkeeper is the main body that aims to protect, preserve, and maintain the river basin. The organization conducts its efforts through advocacy, education, and actions like the clean-up partnership with Aggressor Adventures.

Commenting on the effort, Wayne Brown, the CEO of Aggressor Adventures, stated:

“The Savannah River is a beautiful body of water that our employees enjoy having access to here in Augusta, but with 10,577 square miles of watershed spanning three states, the river presents a challenge to its guardians purely with its size. It was an honor to partner with Savannah Riverkeeper to do our part in preserving this precious waterway. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Savannah Riverkeeper and thank them for their terrific work.”
