Cabañas on Clark’s Cay has announced the opening of four new ADA-compliant cabanas.

The new quadplex named DLX Family #11 & #12 and DLX Family #13 & #14 is set to open the week of July 4. The resort will celebrate with fireworks on July 4, 2026, and again on July 10, 2026. The units are designed to provide comfort and convenience for guests with mobility needs.

Features of the new quadplex include:

  • Large decks
  • ADA-compliant bathrooms
  • Compact kitchenette with a sink
  • mini-refrigerator, and microwave
  • Two Queen-size beds

Clark’s Cay also announced other changes to the resort to make the whole facility more ADA-friendly. Changes implemented as part of the resort overhaul include:

  • 12:1 pitch ramps
  • Redesigned walkways and accessibility improvements to the outdoor bar and dining area, the resort’s lazy river, and the infinity pool.
  • A specialized lifting and harness system will be added to the Newton dive boat.

Commenting on the new ADA-compliant rooms, Kirk Laney, owner of Cabañas on Clark’s Cay, stated:

“The passionate and energetic, but less fortunate divers we’ve met over the years were our inspiration to make an aggressive makeover of our resort and expand our boat capacity. A catchphrase we heard at the Dive Pirates Ball this year, ‘We don’t need easy, just possible,’ gave us the foundation of our own resort vision. We want it to be both possible AND easy for everyone to fall in love with our resort, our staff, our rooms, and the unique experience of joining the Clark’s Cay family as a guest on our 4 ½ acre island paradise.”
