Crowdfunding Campaign Underway For New Underwater Archaeology Book For Kids

If you’re a marine archaeology enthusiast and are in the market for a kids’ book on the same subject, you might want to check out a new crowdfunding campaign aimed at publishing just that kind of book.

Marine archaeologist and scuba diver Dr. Emily Stammitti-Campbell is conducting an Indiegogo campaign to publish the first of a series of children’s educational books, centered around underwater archaeology and two animal friends.

The book, “Otter & Red,” will follow the adventures of a land-bound squirrel called Red and his friend the Otter, who lives in the water and is able to bring things up on shore to show the squirrel. Together, the two go through a myriad of adventures, discovering what histories and untold stories lie beneath the waves.
