Thursday, April 15th 8-11pm @ SFU Aquatic Centre – Canada
The Canadian Association of Freediving and Apnea (CAFA) and Performance Freediving in conjunction with Rowands Reef Scuba Shop and Ocean Pro Divers will be hosting a fun competition to raise awareness of the sport of freediving and also to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Lung Association.
The ‘Deep Breath Challenge 2004’ will have swimmers, snorkelers, scubadivers and freedivers competing in fun events such as;
- U/W Scooter Obstacle Courses (SeaDoo u/w scooters)
- Deep Breath Lift Bag Challenge (how many breaths to lift 25lbs?)
- Scavenger Hunt (find the prizes at the bottom)
- and many more exciting events that require no skill at all :>)
Entry Fee is $20 with all proceeds going to the Canadian Lung Association in support of their on-going research and awareness campaigns.
They’ll be many prizes up for grabs, lots of fun and this is open to swimmers, snorkelers, scubadivers and freedivers alike. Rowands Reef will be providing equipment for those without. Invite your family & friends for a fun evening and support a great cause.
