As 2016 is coming to an end we’ve taken a look back over the most popular Video Of The Week features to find the best and most popular video of the year. We featured 40 videos this year but one was a true stand-out for us.
The DeeperBlue.com 2016 Video Of The Year is Freediving Nemo33 by Daan Verhoeven. A version of the video went viral when it got featured by Red Bull on social media and Daan created this “directors cut”. Freedivers include Solenn Launay, Nancy Gibson and Stig Pryds.
We’ve chosen this video as our Video Of The Year 2016 for not only some amazing freediving skills and video but also for the fact it helped propel Freediving into the minds of millions around the world.
