DEMA Show 2012: DAN Unveils Redesigned Educational Products

The Divers Alert Network has introduced a slew of redesigned educational products at DEMA 2012 in Las Vegas.

The new materials include titles like “Basic Life Support: CPR And First Aid” — which only came out very recently, a DAN executive told DeeperBlue.com this week. Other redesigned titles include “Emergency Oxygen For Scuba Diving Injuries,” “First Aid For Hazardous Marine Life Injuries” and “Neurological Assessment.”

According to a DAN brochure, the redesigned materials “feature full-color, high-resolution images and illustrations. They meet 2010 ILCOR/AHA guidelines and are based on the latest research in hazardous marine life injuries and oxygen administration.”

The updated materials are available in multiple formats, according to DAN. For more information, contact DAN Education at 919-684-2948 or email at oxygen@dan.org.

Keep tuned for our extensive coverage (as well as previous years coverage) of DEMA 2012 during November 14-17, 2012 in our DEMA Show Coverage.
