Despite the ongoing war between the US, Israel and Iran, Blue Force Fleet says its liveaboard trips to the Maldives and Red Sea are continuing as normal.
In a note to travel agents sent on Thursday, Blue Force stated:
“We know very well that earning a client’s trust requires a great deal of work, and that situations of uncertainty can sometimes put that relationship to the test. Precisely in moments like these the value and professionalism of a good travel agency become even more evident.”
In recent days, the situation in the Middle East and the temporary cancellation of flights by Gulf airlines have created uncertainty within the industry, according to Blue Force:
“We trust the situation will improve and that these routes will resume as soon as possible.
“Meanwhile, other airlines continue operating normally, allowing many travelers to keep arriving in the Maldives without inconvenience.
“In any case, we want to convey a very clear message: Our Maldives liveaboards continue operating with guaranteed weekly departures as usual.
“Our commitment to clients and to our partner agencies has always been firm. Blue Force vessels continue sailing even under the most challenging circumstances.

Blue Force said it understands that some travelers currently on board could be affected by delays or cancellations of their return flights.

If agents have clients affected by this situation — who cannot fly or need information or assistance — Blue Force said it is pledging the company’s “full support and flexibility. Our team is fully available to assist you with whatever may be needed.”
Regarding the Red Sea, the airspace has not been affected at any time and the situation in Egypt remains “completely normal,” according to Blue Force.
