Dive 1st Aid has announced the acquisition of Ear Defender LLC.
The move brings together two companies dedicated to enhancing diver safety, comfort and preparedness in and around the water. The strategic acquisition expands Dive 1st Aid’s product lineup by integrating Ear Defender’s ear-product lineup and brand into its portfolio of safety-focused offerings.
By combining resources and know-how, Dive 1st Aid said it hopes to deliver a more comprehensive collection of products aimed at helping divers stay protected on every dive.
Both companies will present a joint exhibition at upcoming scuba shows. There, dive professionals, retailers and consumers can explore the expanded product selection, meet the team, and learn more about the acquisition.
Commenting on the acquisition, Dive 1st Aid President Matt Seibert stated:
