Deep Blue Adventures is organizing a familiarization trip to the Maldives during the full moon.
This is the perfect opportunity to experience Mantas in all their glory, with records of over 100 creatures congregating in Hanifaru Bay during full moons. The familiarization — or “FAM” — trip is scheduled for October 13-20, 2024, aboard the Duke of York.
The FAM trip will also feature Cheryl Patterson, CEO and founder of Deep Blue Adventures, as well as several industry professionals. The trip is ideal for dive leaders and group leaders who want to reconnaissance a trip before recommending it to their clubs and shops.
The trip costs US$900/~£706/~€823 per person based on double occupancy. Additional charges are as follows:
- $120 Service charge, which is a mandatory Maldivian gratuity.
- $160 to cover the domestic transfer from Baa to Male.
- $42 Green Tax.
- $30 Hanifaru Bay park fee.
