A rescue operation is underway off Stradbroke Island, Australia, after a boat drifted away from three divers yesterday morning.
one of the of the divers is theboat’s skipper, and they are trapped in heavy seas off the coast of PointLookout. The boat still has two people on board, and drifted away from the men earlier yesterday.
The Emergency Services Management said the EMQ rescuehelicopter had been dispatched to help search for the drifting boat andlocate the three divers after receiving a call at 10h00.
As yet they have not been found.
