NAUI and Force Blue are teaming up to encourage military veterans to take up scuba diving and become certified Assistant Scientific Divers.
To qualify as a Force Blue Assistant Scientific Diver, candidates must be certified as a Rescue Diver from an accredited training organization. Reaching this can be expensive, although veterans taking the course at any NAUI VA testing center can use their educational benefits to pay for their training.
Commenting on the partnership, NAUI Vice President of Sales and Marketing Angelo Fiore stated:
