Freediving instructors Kirk Krack and Craig Gentry have formed a new company that offers specialized breath-hold survival and emergency preparedness training.
The company, called Aquatic Survival International, will focus on training “aquatic professionals and professional athletes who need to be better prepared, remain calm, with a longer breath-hold in a potentially lethal situation underwater,” according to a post on Krack’s Instagram page.
Further:
“Our Breath-Hold Surf Survival and Special Operations Forces Emergency Preparedness training programs are specifically designed to both improve a student’s breath-hold performance, endurance, and comfort while better preparing them to remain cool, calm, and collected during an unexpected breath-hold in a violent underwater environment while troubleshooting a problem in the event of an emergency.”
