The Gladius submersible drone is the latest product from Chasing-Innovation Technology, and was introduced at this year’s DEMA Show.
Using a smartphone as the viewer for the game-like remote control, the Gladius’ cable gives it a 300-foot/91-meter radius (and can dive that deep as well). It can operate in up to four knots of current and the speed can be controlled.
Constructed of compact high-density plastic and weighing less than 10 lbs/4.5 kg, the Gladius is neutrally buoyant in both fresh and seawater. With its 4K camera and LED lighting, this drone can last for 3 1/2 hours and only requires 30 minutes to recharge.
The Gladius retails for US$1799/1548 Euros and has a one-year warranty. For more info, check out the Chasing Innovation Technology website.
