Goliath Groupers Lose Out In The Florida Wildlife Commission

Despite a valiant campaign by DEMA and other stakeholders against the harvesting of the majestic Goliath Grouper, the Grouper lost.

The Florida Wildlife Commission voted to allow limited harvesting of the Groupers.

Regardless of all the efforts to prevent it, the recreational harvesting of the Goliath Grouper will start in Spring 2023.
