At a raucous raffle in the GoPro booth on the DEMA Show floor, Drew Richardson from PADI grabbed the mic and announced a new collaboration between PADI and GoPro.

With GoPro’s established place in the adventure sports crowd, and PADI’s prominent worldwide exposure in the diving market, the two entities plan to combine forces to facilitate bringing divers’ underwater experiences back from the depths.

Specific details are still being finalized, but the idea is to provide new tools and training, and to create new ways to be able to easily share videos and photos.
