Guanaja, Honduras Disaster Relief Efforts Are Underway

-

In the wake of the horrific fire that destroyed 200 homes in Bonacca, Guanaja, Honduras, relief efforts are underway.

Unfortunately, many of the staff at Cabanas on Clark’s Cay and the Villa on Dunbar Rock lost their homes in the tragedy. Rolling their sleeves up to help, the management team at both establishments are coordinating efforts to organize the relief efforts.

Thankfully there were no fatalities in the fire. However, there is a lot that needs to be rebuilt, and support is needed in the here and now.

If you wish to send material donations like clothing, bed linen, towels, and other small household items, they can be shipped to the following address:

Guanaja Disaster Relief
1308 Village Creek Dr., Suite 1000
Plano, TX 75093

Alternatively, you can make a monetary donation, which can immediately provide food, shelter, and other necessities. According to the Director of Operations Mark Walker:

“Monitory contributions made via gofundme is most helpful so that management can use the funds to purchase what is needed to provide food, shelter, clothing, and other necessities.”

You can find the GoFundMe disaster relief page here.
