Immersion Freediving founder Ted Harty is the latest guest on the Freedive Cafe podcast, where he discusses his personal approach to Freediving.
During the podcast, Harty talks about how after his first freedive, he thought the entire sport was stupid. His first three years of teaching freediving, Harty says he realized he didn’t do a good enough job teaching safety.
Additionally, Harty talks about the difficulties he had teaching his students to equalize the first few years, plus his three most important safety rules and how he learned advanced three-stage mouthfill from Sara Campbell.
Harty also discusses his approach to teaching Freediving and what he means by learning the “Immersion Way.” Further, he talks about how he evolved and changed his course structure over the years to produce better students.
