Italian Sets New No Limits Record After 26 Years

On 12th July 2015 in Sharm-el-Sheikh Mariafelicia Carraturo, a 44 year old from Napoli (Italy), set a new Italian National Record in the discipline of No Limits (NLT) by diving 110m / 361ft in 2min 28sec.  The attempt was ratified by AIDA International judges Pim Vermeulen and Sergio Soria, and the record organizer was Andrea Zuccari from Freediving World Dive Center in Sharm El Shiekh.

This beat the previous No Limits record held by Angela Bladini from 1989.

No Limits is a discipline where the diver descends and ascends in a method of their choice – most typically descent by weighted sled and ascent by inflatable airbag.
