Kickstarter Campaign Launched For Sequel to Water Baby

-

The team behind the hit documentary “Water Baby” has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its sequel “Pacific Mother.”

“Water Baby” explored the journey of Japanese freediver and actress Sachiko and her partner freediver William Trubridge to give birth to their baby in the water. The successful film has been viewed by nearly 8 million people worldwide, which has spurred the team behind it to make their next film.

Pacific Mother looks to explore the relationship between the womb and the ocean. The film tells the story of how we have turned away from the ocean, the mother of all life. Using incredible cinematography, the film tells the stories of incredible ocean women from across the world, including New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Japan, and Rarotonga.

The project hopes to inspire people across the world to fight for mothers and mother ocean.

You can find out more about the project on Facebook and Instagram.

You can donate via Kickstarter here or check out the teaser trailer below.
