Nation’s Attic Inc. Announces Annual ‘Diving Into History’ Auction Featuring Rare Equipment

Nation’s Attic Inc., the world’s largest dealer of authentic antique diving equipment, has announced it is hosting its annual “Diving Into History” auction on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, at 10:00 am CST.

This year’s online-only auction promises to be a treasure trove for collectors, featuring a remarkable collection of historical diving equipment from around the globe.

The 2024 auction boasts a captivating selection of classic copper and brass diving helmets spanning the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Collectors can vie for a comprehensive array of diving knives, some dating back to the 1800s.

History will come alive with five different World War II-era US Navy Mark V diving helmets, including one crafted on D-Day, June 6th, 1944. Helmets from England, the Netherlands and beyond add to the international scope of the collection.

Beyond the iconic helmets, the auction offers a wealth of historical artifacts, including:
