You’ll see and share the excitement of catching big lobsters and learn about the biology of the lobster, gear selection, regulations, dive locations, hunting techniques, and how to prepare your lobster feast. It also includes exciting aerial footage of diving locations at the Northern Channel Islands, detailed examples of how to measure your lobsters, and much, much more.
The 46 minute long DVD was produced by Steve and Kristine Barsky of Hammerhead Video over a period of 18 months and was shot at Catalina Island, Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and other locations along the mainland coast. The film was shot in digital video using a Sony PC110 and PD150. Underwater, both Light and Motion and Gates housings were used. It was edited on a Macintosh G4 computer using Final Cut Pro software. The DVD was programmed using DVD Studio Pro software.
